CAMPER AGES: 6 and older
TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The Riding School offers Summer Riding Day Camp for children ages six (6) and older. Beginner and intermediate riders enjoy an hour of instructed riding each day, horse related crafts and games, learning proper horse care, and stable management. Each session is one week. Camp begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm; Monday through Thursday. Camps runs June through August.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located in Midlothian off of Robious Rd (minutes from 288) at the historic Keswick Plantation.
CAMP FACILITIES: JREC consists of approximately 75 acres and three barns on the larger Keswick Plantation. The Riding School is run at the first two barns as you enter the farm. We have two riding rings to accommodate different riding levels.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Riding School at James River Equestrian Center offers English horseback riding lessons to those who do not own a horse. We teach beginner through intermediate Hunter/Jumper lessons. We have ponies and horses that are appropriate for the beginner as well as animals that can challenge and accommodate the more advanced rider. In our program, each rider is developed at his or her own pace.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Session 1: June 10th-13th
Session 2: June 24th-27th
Session 3: July 8th-11th
Session 4: July 22nd-25th
Session 5: August 5th-8th
Camp days and hours are Monday-Thursday
9:00am-1:00pm. Each session is $425.00 per camper
